Terms of service

Book Me Soon lets someone publish the times they are free and share a link that others can use to book one of those times. Using the site, as a host or as a guest, means accepting these terms.

You must be at least 16 to use this service, or at least the age of digital consent where you live if that is lower — and never under 13. Both sides of a booking are covered by this: a host publishing times and a guest taking one.

If you are using the service for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

A host account is a Google Account signed in through Google. You are responsible for what happens through your account and for keeping access to the Google Account behind it. Guests have no account and need none.

Your booking link is unguessable but public to anyone holding it. Treat it as you would a phone number: share it with whoever should be able to book, and expect that they can pass it on.

Do not use this service to:

• book times you do not intend to keep, or book on someone else's behalf without their knowledge;
• enter another person's details, or anything unlawful, abusive or deceptive, into a name, email or note field;
• send unsolicited mail using a booking link, or collect other people's information through one;
• probe, script against, or place automated load on the service beyond ordinary use.

Accounts and bookings that do these things may be removed without notice.

A host decides what their page says and which times it offers, and is responsible for that content and for the meetings arranged through it. A guest's name, email address and note belong to that guest; as a host you receive them to arrange the meeting, and using them for anything else — a mailing list, for instance — is your responsibility and not permitted by these terms.

Book Me Soon arranges the appointment. It is not a party to it, takes no payment, and makes no promise that either side will attend. Whether a booked meeting happens, and what it is worth, is between the host and the guest.

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, may lose a calendar synchronisation, and may change or stop. Do not rely on it as the only record of an appointment that matters — the calendar entry and the confirmation email exist so a booking survives this site being down.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for missed appointments, or for lost business arising from use of the service.

Signing in and writing calendar entries uses Google services and is subject to Google's own terms. The permission requested is limited to a calendar this application creates; what is stored and why is set out in the privacy policy. Access can be withdrawn at any time from your Google Account permissions, which stops further calendar access immediately.

The service is free to use, and we may show advertising on the site to support it. Advertisements are the advertiser's responsibility, not ours: a product shown beside a booking page is not endorsed by us or by the host whose page it appears on.

Nothing from a connected Google Account, and nothing a guest enters to make a booking, is used to target advertising. The privacy policy sets out what that means and links the policies of the providers involved.

A host may stop using the service at any time, revoke its access at Google, and ask for their account and bookings to be deleted. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or withdraw the service entirely — with reasonable notice by email where that is possible.

These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes are sent to hosts by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
